| Set in one of the most beautiful parts
of Spain, Cómpeta is approximately 17 km inland from Torre Del
Mar and Nerja and only one hours drive from Malaga Airport. One of the famous white villages of the Axarquia, Cómpeta glistens against the impressive backdrop of the Sierras. It retains its old world character as typified by the traditional municipal market, but offers modern facilities including several small supermarkets, bakeries, chemists, banks, swimming pool and an excellent hotel as well as some small pensions. Narrow streets wind around the village making a delightful place to take a stroll past the old houses with their flower filled balconies and perhaps stop for a small refreshment at one of the charming local bars. |
